My research to date has been on the use infrared sensors to detect and quantify thermal activity. The main focus of this work has been on the use of satellite imagery to monitor active volcanoes and wildfires. I am currently expanding the scope of my research to include monitoring landslide hazards using remote sensing techniques. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
