I am a Linguistics and Portuguese professor at the Federal University of Roraima (UFRR). I have a degree in Linguistics and Portuguese by University of São Paulo (USP). With a Master Degree program in Linguistics in 2017 by USP (CAPES grant) and a Ph.D. in linguistics in 2022 (CNPq grant) in the same university. I was a visiting student at MIT in 2019 (CAPES grant). The main linguistic fields I have worked with in my career are Syntax, Semantics, Pragmatics and the study of Brazilian Native Languages. During these ten years doing research, I have worked with the following subjects: Mood, Modality, Tense, Aspect, Counterfactuality, Noun phrases, Subordination, Perception Verbs, Completive Clauses, Quotative constructions and active methodologies for teaching Portuguese.
