Graduated in Civil Engineering (UAM 2004) and Civil Construction Technology from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1983), Master in Building Services Engineering - Heriot-Watt University (1990), PhD in Architecture and Urbanism from the University of São Paulo (1998); Post-Doctorate in Water Efficiency at the National Laboratory of Civil Engineering - LNEC - Lisbon Portugal in 2010; Post-Doctorate in Energy Efficiency and Environmental Certification of Buildings at Instituto Superior Técnico - Lisbon 2023. Director of the Physical Development Office of UFSCar Campuses from 2012 to 2016. Coordinator of the Professional Master's Program at IPT from 2006 to 2011. Researcher II at the Technological Research Institute of the State of São Paulo (from 1979 to 2011) working in the Building Installations and Sanitation Laboratory. Currently Associate Professor IV and Head (2025-206) of the Department of Civil Engineering; Member of the Advisory Committee for Specialization Courses of the Pro-Rectorate of Extension of UFSCar; Postgraduate Coordinator of the Specialization Course lato sensu in Management and Technology of Building Construction Systems (Class 2020-2022); and Professor responsible for the Disciplines of Electricity Building Systems, Fire Fighting Systems, and Auditing and Energy Efficiency in Buildings. Research Professor at UAB in the Environmental Engineering Course, distance learning modality, teaching the subject Planning and Management of Energy Resources (2010 to 2016). Professor of the Disciplines of Specialization Courses in Planning and Management of Urban Infrastructure, in the Discipline Planning and Management of Public Lighting. He has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Civil Engineering, with an emphasis on Civil Construction in research and extension projects in the areas of Building Systems, Sustainability of the Built Environment with a focus on the rational use of water in buildings and alternative energies; Building Certification Systems (PROCEL EDIFICA; LEED; AQUA, Casa+Azul Seal CEF; Smart Cities). Develops several researches on solutions for pathologies in building systems, in addition to technical work on the restoration of historical sites, based on prospecting results from laboratory and field evaluations.
