Bachelor's degree in Physics from the State University of Campinas, a Master's degree in Physics from the State University of Campinas (2009) and a PhD in Physics from Tohoku University in Japan. Postdoctoral fellowship from the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), and was a researcher at the National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) in France. He is currently a researcher at the University of Sussex in England, working mainly on the following topics: experimental neutrino physics, neutrino oscillation, neutrinos from reactors, accelerators and Supernova, and research and development of new radiation detectors using opaque media.
