Agronomist from UEL (1990) and Ph.D. from the University of Florida (2004) in plant molecular and cellular biology. He has experience in biotechnology, genetics, and plant breeding, as well as in digital agriculture, physiological modeling, and agribusiness. He has been a farmer and agricultural consultant since 1990. He worked as a research scientist at Fundecitrus in Araraquara-SP from 1995 to 1998, at the Sylvio Moreira Citrus Center - IAC in Cordeirópolis-SP from 2004 to 2008, and at IDR-IAPAR in Londrina-PR from 2009 to 2024. He was a co-founder and CEO of an agricultural mechanization company in the sugarcane sector in São Paulo and Mato Grosso from 2006 to 2010. He served as Vice President of the International Citrus Congress in 2016, co-founded the Agrobit event in 2018, and has been a speaker at numerous national and international events. He has mentored and co-mentored undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students. He developed hybrids and genetically modified organisms in citrus and selected GMOs in sugarcane. He has over 50 publications, including international articles, book chapters, and others. More recently, he contributed to the development of phenotyping, remote sensing, data analysis, and digital agriculture technologies at Washington State University, USA. He is currently the Scientific Director of Solo Sagrado Agronegócios Ltda, in Martinho Prado, SP. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
