Graduated in Nursing from Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP, 2000), with a Residency in Emergency Medicine from UNIFESP (2001-2003), a Ph.D. in Sciences from the Graduate Program in Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery at the School of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (FMUSP, 2008), and Postdoctoral training at the Department of Surgery at Duke University Medical Center (USA, 2012) and the Department of Cardiopneumology at FMUSP (2013).Currently works as a Researcher in the Cardiac Pacing Unit of the Heart Institute (InCor) at the Hospital das Clínicas of FMUSP, as well as an ad hoc reviewer for funding agencies and national and international scientific journals.A member of the REDCap Consortium at Vanderbilt University (USA) since 2012, she is the founder and Scientific Director of the REDCap-Brazil Consortium, responsible for promoting and expanding the use of REDCap across Brazil.
