Jayme Pinto Ortiz

Civil Engineer from Mackenzie Presbyterian University (1972), Master in Hydraulic Engineering from Polytechnic School of University of São Paulo - EPUSP (1982), sandwich PhD in Civil Hydraulic Engineering- EPUSP/University of Minnesota - SAFHL/USA, where staied as Honnorary Fellow in the period of 1997 - 1989, Livre-Docente by EPUSP (2011). Has also specialization courses at Università degli Studi di Padova - Italia (1977-1978). Former Professor from Mauá Institute of Techology - School of Engineering (2000-2017). Professor of EPUSP from 1989 until now and Associate III Professor since 2011, where is the coordinator of Environmental and Biomedical Engineering Laboratory - LAB-PME/EPUSP, registered in search group directory of CNPq. Experience in areas of Mechanical, Civil and Biiomedical Engineeding, with emphasys in Fluid Mechanics/Hydraulics, working mainly in the following topics: submarine and fluvial outfalls, effluent dispersion in water environmental, hydraulic structures, turbulence, vascular systems, physical and computational modeling.
