Graduated in Industrial Chemistry at Escola Superior de Química das Faculdades Oswaldo Cruz(1986), master degree (1997) and Ph.D. in Nuclear Technology from the University of São Paulo - IPEN / USP (2011). She strated working as public server at the Institute for Energy and Nuclear Research - IPEN-CNEN/SP in 1998, at the Radiation Protection Service, where she worked as Radiation Protection Officer until 2006. In 2006, assumed responsibility for operations and maintenance of the Multipurpose Irradiator at Radiation Technology Center - CETER, until 2010. Today, at this same department, develops research in polymer modification using ionizing radiation, especially micro and nanoparticles of polymers, also, polymer grafting by ionizing radiation by convebtional method and using RAFT polymerization.
