Dr. de Oliveira received her MD (Medical Degree) in 1996 by Federal University of Pará (Belem - Brazil). Then she moved over to Sao Paulo where she performed her Surgical Residence Training at Federal University of Sao Paulo - Paulista School of Medicine from 1996 to 2000. Then she entered in a Master in Science program at the same institution, receiving her Master Degree in 2003. Afterwards, she was awarded with a special scholarship by the Brazilian Governament allowing her to start a PhD-MD program at Federal University of São Paulo in 2003. She developed part of her thesis at Johns Hopkins University - USA, receiving her PhD degree in 2006 at Federal University of Sao Paulo - Paulista School of Medicine. Dr de Oliveira went to University of Zurich for a Post-doctoral study in apoptosis in cholangiocarcinoma. During this time, she also pursuit a formal surgical training in HPB Surgery & Liver Trasnplantation at University Hospital of Zurich. Currently her activies focusing on the following subjects: Liver and Biliary Tract surgery, Pancreas Surgery, Clinical Research - Surgical Outcomes. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
