Bachelor's degree in Nursing from the University of São Paulo - USP (1994), master's degree in Nursing from USP (1999) and a PhD in Nursing from USP (2005). Currently associate professor 4 at the Department of Nursing at the Federal University of São Carlos, leader of the Center for Studies in the Nursing Process and Classifications (NEPENF) at UFSCar, deputy leader of the Center for Health Assessment and Education - UFSCar. Director of the education committee at NANDA International. Member of the Nursing Process Working Group of the (GT PE) of COREN - SP (2021-2022). Member of the Ethics Committee for research on human beings at UFSCar - CEP - UFSCar (2022-2024). Coordinator of the Postgraduate Nursing Program at UFSCar (May 2011 to May 2013) and effective member of the Postgraduate Nursing Committee at UFSCar (2011-2015). Head of the Health and Patient Safety Surveillance Sector at the University Hospital HU - UFSCar - EBSERH (2015-2017) and the Nursing Division at HU-UFSCar (2017-2021). Founding member of the Nursing Process Research Network - REPPE, member of NANDA-I, member of the Brazilian Nursing Association (ABEN) and the Brazilian Society for the Quality of Care and Patient Safety (SOBRASP). Organizer of the Nursing Diagnosis Update Program - PRONANDA - Artmed-Panamericana. Education and research in fundamentals of nursing, nursing process, nursing diagnoses, assessment of health-related quality of life and psychosocial variables (self-care, self-esteem, self-efficacy, anxiety, stress) in different population and patient safety.
