Silvia Cristina Núñez

Silvia Cristina Núñez is a full professor and researcher in the Graduate Program in Bioengineering at Universidade Brasil. She holds a degree in Dentistry from Universidade Cidade de São Paulo, a Masters in Lasers in Dentistry from IPEN/FOUSP, and a Ph.D. in Sciences from the University of São Paulo. Her academic career is distinguished by significant scientific contributions, including the publication of multiple books, book chapters, and articles in high-impact international journals. Additionally, she holds patents and registered applications, reflecting her commitment to technological innovation. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she conceptualized and organized one of the first online scientific events in May 2020, an initiative that remains active, promoting the dissemination of health innovations and scientific knowledge to society. She also plays a key role in the internationalization of Universidade Brasil, participating in delegations and academic exchanges with international institutions.Her expertise extends to consulting and collaboration with technology companies in the health and aesthetics sectors, fostering a strong connection between academia and industry.
