Francisco José Correa Braga

Graduated in Materials Engineering (Universidade Federal de São Carlos -1974), Master of Materials Sciences (Military Engineering Institute / 1977), Specialist in Financial Administration (Don Bosco Salesian Institute / 1987) and PhD in Chemistry (Universidade Estadual Paulista / 2007) . After master's degree, he began his professional career in the academic field as a researcher at IPEN. He participated in the mechanical fluency group of the University of Southern California (1979/1981). He has worked in Industrial Engineering at companies such as Pirelli and Alcoa in the 1980s and 1990s. He has held positions in the Management of Project Nationalization and Advisory Materials for the Presidency in the nuclear program of the Brazilian Navy. He is a consultant in materials engineering in electro-mechanical companies and manufacturers of oral implants. He founded the companies CONSULMAT (www.consulmat.com.br), CRITERIA (www.criteria.com.br) and BIONZ (www.bionz.pt) all focused on technology for health. He has taught courses in Production Engineering and Business Administration at Universities: UFSCar, UNIP, UniABC, and Faculdades Trevisan. He was a researcher (retired) in Biomaterials at the Center for Science and Technology of Materials of IPEN from 1995 to 2014.
