Ricardo Coelho Silva

He is currently Assistant Professor from Department of Statistical and Applied Mathematics (DEMA) at Federal University of Ceará (UFC), Fortaleza-Ceará-Brazil. He graduated in Mathematics from School of Exact and Natural Science (FANAT) at State University of Rio Grande do Norte (UERN), Mossoró-RN-Brazil. He received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Campinas-SP-Brazil, in 2005 and 2009, respectively. Currently, I has been the regional coordinator of the Society of Applied and Computational Mathematics. Since 2003, his research interests has been in the areas of operational research, fuzzy logic, optimization, evolutionary computation, neural networks and meta-heuristics. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
