Post-graduate in Business Administration at Ashridge University (U.K., 2014), specialising in business strategy and industrial operations. I concluded the PhD subsequently to the MSc in Materials Engineering - Welding at Cranfield University (U.K., respectively 1985 and 1983). After the graduation in Welding Technology at Fatec (São Paulo, Brasil, 1980), I obtained a First Class Honours Degree equivalence in Cranfield University (U.K., 1983). I achieved Chartered Engineer status - C.Eng. - and membership of The Welding Institute -M.Weld.I.- in 1993 (U.K.). I was one of the founders of the Brazilian Welding Association and member of several institutions, including the advisory panel in the Master of Design programme at Cranfield University (U.K.). Having directed a number of companies in Brazil, U.K., U.S.A., Mexico, Brasil, Argentina, South Africa, Romania and Egypt and starting-up companies in Brazil and Mexico since 2000, I returned to Brazil in 2014 as a Technical Director with ITW - Illinois Tool Works (U.S.A.) to advance the welding division (who owns brands such as Miller, Hobart, Tregaskiss and Bernard). Previously, during 1986-1995, I worked as a Nuclear Reactor Project Manager at Emgeprom (formely Copesp) and IPEN-CNEN in Sao Paulo, Brazil. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
