Graduated in Social Sciences - University of Haifa, Israel (1973). Graduated in Plastic Arts - University of Haifa, Israel (1973). Master in Sociology - Universiy of Haifa, Israel (1976), with a dissertation on "Sociological Theory". Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of São Paulo - USP -, with a thesis on "The state of exception at Weimar's constitution".She is a Law School Professor at the University São Judas Tadeu - USJT -, São Paulo, Brazil, since 2003. Experienced in Sociology of Law, with emphasis in Law Criticism and in Alternative Forms of Conflict Resolution, she is currently working with Conflict Mediation and with Transformative Mediation. She created and introduced the alternative "Transmediation" way, an interdisciplinary practice with a particular methodology for the understanding and management of conflicts. She is a founding member and coordinator of the Mediation House of the USJT, since April 2011. She is a member of the Global Advisory Board of Human Dignity and Humiliation Studies.
