Elyas Ferreira de Medeiros

Director of the Project Management Department of the Secretariat for Planning, Cooperation and Control of the Ministry of Science, Technology, Innovation and Communications. PhD in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering (The University of Texas at Austin, 1995). MSc in Computational Aerodynamics (Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica, ITA, 1990). BSc in Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering (Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica, ITA, 1984). He is a senior Air Force engineer, emeritus. He was a Senior Advisor for Public Policies in Science, Technology and Innovation at the Center for Management and Strategic Studies (CGEE) from 2006 to 2014, where he coordinated studies focusing on strategies for developing productive chains of the Brazilian socio-economy.
