Associate Professor with a Livre Docente degree in Interpretive Practices from IA Unicamp, Ph.D. in Literature from the Department of Linguistics and Semiotics at the Faculty of Philosophy, Letters, and Human Sciences (USP) under the guidance of Luiz Augusto de Moraes Tatit, with the thesis "From Intention to Interpretative Gesture - Semiotic Analysis of Brazilian Popular Singing." Master's degree in Music from the State University of Campinas, under the guidance of José Roberto Zan, with the dissertation "The Voice in Brazilian Popular Song - A Study on the Vanguarda Paulista," which was later published as a book by Ateliê Editorial in 2011.She is a professor in the undergraduate program in Popular Music at the State University of Campinas, where she teaches courses in Popular Singing and Singing in Brazilian Popular Music, dedicated to analyzing vocal behavior in urban popular songs. She works in the field of Music, both artistically and academically, specializing in Singing, with the focus of her academic work on the following themes: popular singing, vocal behavior in popular songs, the history of singing, and the analysis of vocal behavior through semiotic studies.She has released five albums (Sobre a Paixão, 2000; Pulsar, 2004; Agora o Céu vai Ficando Claro, 2010; Multiplicar-se única - canções de Tom Zé, 2015; and Enquanto o tempo para, 2022). She is accredited in the Postgraduate Music program at the State University of Campinas, where she supervises research at the Master's and Ph.D. levels.
