David Menotti Gomes

David received his Computer Engineering degree and and Master in Applied Informatics from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná (2000), Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná (2003), respectively, and hist PhD (in co-tutelle) in Informatics and Computer Science from Université Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée (2008) and Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG) (2008), respectively. Since 2015, he has been with the Department of Informatics, Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR) as an Associate Professor. He was with the Cmputing Department, Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto (UFOP) from 2008 to 2015.He works as Collaborator Professor in the Computer Science Post-Graduate Programs in Computer Science from UFOP and UFMG.He spent his sabbatical year at Institute of Computing, University of Caminas as a post-doctoral researcher. He has experience in Computer Science, focusing on Graphical Processing (Graphics), namely Image Processing, Pattern Recognition, and Computer Vision. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
