We intend to investigate the spectral and transport properties of the charmed mesons in hot and dense nuclear matter with the help of the real-time formalism of thermal field theory. Specific interests are the in-medium spectral and transport properties of open-charm mesons like D and D* mesons, and hidden-charm mesons like J/Psi and eta_c.
