Master's degree from Toxicology Department (USP-FCFRP) with the project entitled "Influence of sulforaphane, an inhibitor of histone deacetylases, on genomic instability and epigenetic mechanisms in human cell lines". He was a visiting researcher at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), where he gained experience in sequencing techniques and bioinformatics analysis.
