Fabio da Silva Fortes

Doctor in Philosophy from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), Doctor and Master in Linguistics (Classical Studies) from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Degree in Classical Letters from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora and in Philosophy from the Centro Universitário Claretiano, he is currently an Associate Professor of Classical Greek and Latin at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora and permanent professor of the Postgraduate Programs in Linguistics and Philosophy at this institution. He has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Letters and Philosophy, with an emphasis on Classical Studies, acting mainly on the following themes: history and philosophy of language sciences, Greek and Latin grammatical discourse, Plato and classical language teaching. Currently, licensed to carry out a post-doctoral internship with a scholarship from the CAPES Junior Visiting Professor Program, at the Département des Sciences de l'Antiquité of the Université de Liège - Belgium.
