Beatriz Vivian Schneider Felicio completed a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from FFCLRP - USP in 2008. She holds a Master's and PhD in Science Teaching with an emphasis on Chemistry teaching from the Inter-Unit Graduate Program in Science Teaching (IF / IQ / IB / FE) of USP São Paulo. She acted as tutor for the Specialization course in Science Teaching offered by FEUSP and the São Paulo Department of Education, on the Redefor platform in 2010 and 2011. She acted as tutor for the USP / UNIVESP Science Degree Course in 2014 and 2015. She was a effective chemistry teacher in the State network by 2019; she was a volunteer professor and collaborating researcher at the Research Center for Alternative Methodologies Connection (CIEMAC); participated in discussions and works by the following groups: Science, Behavior and Environment Research Group (GPCCA), from USP in Ribeirão Preto; Study and Research Group on Interculturality and Science Education (GEPIC), UFTM de Uberaba; Research Group on Science Education and Complexity (ECCo) of IFUSP of São Paulo. She is currently a teacher in Elementary School II and High School at Colégio Almeida Garrett (COLAG) in Ribeirão Preto. Her line of interest is the study of relations between Science / Chemistry Teaching and the socio-environmental theme from the socio-historical-cultural perspective of teaching and learning, with the approach of CTSA themes, focusing on the production of interdisciplinary study activities and for teaching chemistry.
