Professor at the Department of Sociology and the Post-Graduate Studies Program in Social Sciences at PUC-SP. She was a collaborating professor at the Postgraduate Program in Territory Planning and Management at the Federal University of ABC (UFABC). He holds a degree in Social Sciences from the University of São Paulo (1985), a Master's in Sociology from the University of São Paulo (1994) and a PhD in Social Sciences from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (2004). Develops research in the area of #8203;#8203;Urban Sociology, with emphasis on issues related to urban dynamics, intra-urban migration, production of urban space, problems related to the periphery of urban metropolises and the social, physical and symbolic boundaries produced by mobility in urban space and the interfaces between urban and rural. Develops research related to urban and fiscal management instruments in the cities of the Metropolitan Region of São Paulo. She is a researcher at the Observatório das Metrópoles-Núcleo de São Paulo Network, under the national coordination of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. For 6 years, she served as coordinator of the Social Sciences Course at PUC-SP. Coordinator of the PUC-SP Evaluation Committee for the 2018-2020 period; reappointed to office for the 2021-2023 triennium. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
