a civil engineer graduated at Escola Politénica at University of São Paulo, she got her master degree (1978), doctorate degree (1996) and post-doctoral (2017) at the same institution. She is now Associate Professor at Escola Politécnica at University of São Paulo and researcher at the Real Estate Research Group at Poli-USP and Coordinator of the MBA Course in Real Estate Economics and Markets at University of São Pauilo. From 2006-2008 she has been in charge of the Lares - Latin American Real Estate Society and president of IRES - International Real Estate Society in 2012. She has been invited to be a member of the World Economic Forum taking part of the Real Estate and Urban Development Council since 2010. She has published many different reserach papers, books and book chapters. Her experience is concentrated on different real estate segments such as funding for the real estate market,risks in real estate investment, real estate residencial and income developments, specially shopping centers.
