ANA PATO is tecnical director of the Memorial da Resistência de São Paulo. With a doctorate degree from the School of Architecture and Urban Design of the University of São Paulo, she holds a masters degree in Visual Arts from Santa Marcelina School. She was curator of the exhibitions Women in Resistance! Archives of political memory (2023), Yona Friedman: Democracia (2021), Meta-Archive: 1964-1985 (2019), 20th Contemporary Art Festival Sesc_Videobrasil (2017), How heavy is a cloud?, Giselle Beiguelman (2016) and chief-curator of the 3rd Bahia Biennale (2014). She was researcher-associated of the Museum of Modern Art of Bahia (2015) and director of the Associação Cultural Videobrasil (2000-2012). She is the author of the book Expanded Literature: archive and quotation in the work of Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster (2012). In her research, she dedicates herself to the relations between contemporary art, archive and memory. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
