Ethnomusicologist, flautist, and music educator. Lecturer at State University of Maringá (UEM). Holds a PhD in Music from the State University of Campinas (Unicamp), with a research internship at the University College Dublin School of Music (UCD/Ireland) under the supervision of Professor Thérèse Smith. Holds a master's degree in Music (with an emphasis on ethnomusicology, Unicamp - 2015) and a degree in Music Education from the Federal University of São Carlos (2008). Has experience as a music teacher for early childhood education, high school, and higher education, in both face-to-face and distance learning formats. Worked as a professor at the Federal University of Piauí (UFPI) and Federal University of Recôncavo da Bahia (UFRB). Since 2007, has worked as a flutist in choro and samba groups and performed at important Brazilian festivals, such as Virada Cultural Paulista, Brasil Instrumental, and Chorando Sem Parar. Participated as a researcher in the project "Local Musicking: New Pathways for Ethnomusicology," coordinated by Suzel Ana Reily, and developed the research "Trilhas do choro: entre o participativo e o apresentacional nas rodas do interior paulista" (FAPESP fellowship). Served as the Second Treasurer of the Associação Brasileira de Etnomusicologia (ABET management 2017/2019) and was a member of the fiscal council of this association during 2020/2021.
