Graduated in Pharmacy with a specialization in Pharmaceutical Industry from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (2000), as well as a Master's and Doctorate in Pharmaceutical Sciences from UNESP. She is currently an Associate Professor IV at the Federal University of Ceará, responsible for the course on Physicochemical Quality Control of Medicines and Cosmetics. She has experience in the field of industrial pharmacy, with an emphasis on Drug Analysis and Control, focusing mainly on the following topics: Validation of Analytical Methods (HPLC, Spectrophotometry, Titration), Pharmaceutical Equivalence Studies, Dissolution Profile, Microbiological Assay, Stability Studies of Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Products, Drug Disposal, and Contamination by Micropollutants (Pharmaceuticals) in Water Bodies, as well as Translational Pharmacy Research. She has led four successful funding proposals as the coordinator, supported by FUNCAP and CNPq. She has been the director of the School Pharmacy since 2013, promoting and encouraging teaching, research, and extension, serving the public and companies through public-private partnerships. The "Plantas da Caatinga" project, with cosmetic potential, received the distinction of a socio-environmental project in the Empreende UFC 2024 program, as well as second place in the Hackathon "Jornada da Caatinga."
