Graduated in Forest Engineering from the University of São Paulo (1991), specialized in Nuclear Energy in Agriculture (1989), master's degree in Agronomy (Agricultural Environmental Physics) from the University of São Paulo (1995), doctorate in Agricultural Engineering - Water and Soil the State University of Campinas (2001) and postdoctoral studies in hydrological modeling at the University of California, Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory (2001). It is currently a researcher in the area of Global Climate Change and coordinator of the Research Portfolio at Embrapa Climate Change - Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation. Has experience in the area of Forest Engineering, with an emphasis on Agrometeorology, acting on the following topics: global climate change and its impacts on agriculture, trend analysis, environmental modeling, simulation scenarios, watershed, GIS and remote sensing and estimation of agricultural biomass.
