Brayan Pétrick de Souza

Graduated in Biological Sciences/Bachelor's Degree from UEMG-Campus Passos/MG in 2012. I worked with three scientific initiations (CIs) funded by the UEMG-PIBIC program, they are: i) phytosanitary study on urban afforestation of the city of Passos/MG, which in addition to research had an extension aspect to which the community that lives near the urban trees was involved; ii) research and monitoring of the primary productivity of the reservoir of the Middle Rio Grande Basin was carried out, which also had an extension aspect by characterizing riverside communities (history and life method) that live in the Community of Três Ilhas; iii) limnological monitoring research was carried out by applying the water quality index to the springs of the Middle Rio Grande Basin, research that was part of the project of Basin Committees of the Middle Rio Grande Reservoir. Master's degree (2015) from UFSCar (São Carlos/SP campus) through the PPGERN program, project entitled Formation and mineralization of humic substances from the decomposition of aquatic macrophytes in tropical reservoirs with different degrees of trophy, funded by FAPESP-SP, in which I worked with mathematical modeling in carbon cycling in aquatic ecosystems. PhD in Sciences in the same PPGERN program in 2019, with the project entitled Detritus quality in the mass loss of particulate matter from Eichhornia crassipes (Mart.) Solms, funded by CAPES, where he aimed to investigate the behavior of the transformation of organic to inorganic carbon of different initial nutrient constitutions of aquatic macrophyte detritus. I also worked as an entrepreneur and nutraceutical specialist at NutraSIM (2019-2021). Product development related to environmental sustainability practices, Technical and scientific reports, Leadership and team improvement, Business administration with a focus on Commercial Planning and Strategies, Business Model, Customer Management and Marketing. Since 2019, he has worked as a project advisor for the MBA/USP Esalq, in the area of #8203;#8203;Agribusiness with themes of Environmental Sustainability, Business Planning and Management, Sales and Marketing Planning and Management and Agribusiness. I am also a federal public servant for EBSERH - Brazilian Hospital Services Company, working as a Biologist at the University Hospital of the Federal University of São Carlos/SP with work fronts related to leadership and management of research and marketing projects and clinical analysis of the Clinical Analysis Laboratory.
