He was a consultant at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), was a Visiting Researcher at the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP), Guest Researcher at the Russian Institute for Strategic Studies (RISS), was a Consultant at the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC ), was a Visiting Researcher at the Institute for Applied Economic Research (IPEA), was a Consultant at the Center for Management and Strategic Studies (CGEE) and was a Visiting Researcher/Professor at Seoul National University (SNU) in South Korea (2021-2022). He is currently an Secreariat of Industrial Development, Innovation, Commerce and Services, and Adjunct Professor, on a full-time basis, at the Faculty of Economics of the Federal University of Bahia (FCE/UFBA). He has experience in the area of International Economics, Industrial Economics and Innovation, with an emphasis on studies on industry, innovation and catch-up. technological up, international insertion and economic development of Brazil and asian countries, mainly South Korea and China.
