Tahiana Menin Proença attended Bachelor's Degree in Physical and Biomolecular Sciences at the Institute of Physics of São Carlos at the University of São Paulo (IFSC / USP) from 2009 to 2011, and in 2012 she enrolled in the Bachelor of Biotechnology of the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar). The activities developed in those years were: Scientific initiation in the Laboratory of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology - Institute of Chemistry of São Carlos - University of São Paulo (IQSC / USP). Project: Obtaining and characterization of the "Old Yellow Enzyme" from Trypanosoma cruzi. Period: August 2010 to July 2011. Participation in the 18th International Symposium on Scientific Initiation of USP - Siicusp; October 2010. Participation in the 1st Physics Week - IFSC / USP; November 2010. Participation in the 40th Annual Meeting of the Brazilian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology - SBBq; April / May 2011. Participation in the 1st Integrated Week of the Institute of Physics of São Carlos - IFSC / USP; October 2011. Participation in the 7th Biology Week - UFSCar; May / June 2012. Participation in the 2nd Integrated Week of the Institute of Physics of São Carlos - IFSC / USP; October of 2012. Scientific initiation in the Laboratory of Microbiology and Parasitology - Department of Morphology and Pathology - Center of Biological and Health Sciences - Federal University of São Carlos. Project: Isolation of endophytic bacteria of Psidium guajava for identification of substances of biotechnological interest. Beginning: February 2013. She participated in the program Science without Borders funded by Capes, remaining abroad from August 2014 to July 2015. The Institution abroad was Texas Tech University, located in the city of Lubbock - TX, United States of America. During this period, she studied two academic semesters, doing subjects in Biotechnology and one in the Spanish language. In addition, she completed two months of laboratory work at the University, contributing to studies of interfering RNA. After returning to Brazil, she returned to her activities at the Federal University of São Carlos, where she graduated in February 2017. She started her MBA in Foreign Trade and International Business at Fundação Getúlio Vargas de Ribeirão Preto in August 2017 and this course is underway. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
