Guedmiller Souza de Oliveira

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the Institute of Chemistry at the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU) and master's degree in Physical Chemistry from the Graduate Program in Chemistry (PPGQUI) at UFU. PhD in sciences with emphasis in physical chemistry from the Chemistry Department of the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) with a sandwich period (PDSE/CAPES) at the University of Houston (UH), Houston, USA. He was a FAPESP post-doc fellow (2013-2017) with the project Development of nanobiosensors using advanced computational techniques, at UFSCar, Campus Sorocaba. He also performed post-doctoral internship (FAPESP-BEPE) at UH, Houston, USA (2015), under the supervision of Prof. Dr. James M. Briggs. He works in the area of computational simulation using classical and quantum theories for the determination of physicochemical parameters obtained experimentally. He is the creator and coordinator of the Project Cientista Mirim UFU (PCM-UFU), which aims to awaken the interest of children in the scientific career. In addition, he has interaction with several experimental groups for the purpose of correlation of results. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Institute of Chemistry at UFU, concentration area: Physical Chemistry, and an accredited advisor for the PPGQUI at UFU. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
