Master's degree from the Federal University of Pará and PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), both in Mechanical Engineering in the area of Materials and Manufacturing Processes. Two post-doctorates in Mechanical Engineering from UNICAMP with a research internship abroad, carried out at the National Center for Metallurgical Investigations of the University of Campinas.
