Leandro Augusto da Silva is a Computer Engineering graduated from FEI (Industrial Engineering Faculty) and he holds Master and PhD degree in Engineering System from EPUSP (Polytechinical School of University of São Paulo). He has an extensive research experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Systems, and he also undertaken work in the following research topics: artificial neural network, images processing and analysis, data mining in structured and non-structure data, information retrieval to many a fill. Leandro is currently working as an Adjunct Professor at FCI (Computing and Informatics Faculty) from UPM (Mackenzie Presbiterian University) for undergraduates and postgraduates (stricto-sensu and lacto-sensu) students teaching subjects related to Computational Intelligence, Information Retrieval, Data Base, Data Mining, Big Data. In addition, Leandro at Mackenzie is also engaged in the Education Committee, Thematic Groups as well as coordinating Complementary Activities at FCI. Professor Leandro is also a technical committee member for national and international conferences; and he is also a Peer reviewer for journals and granting agencies. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
