Assistant Professor at the Department of History at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro. Doctor in Social History from the State University of Campinas (2018), with a research internship at the Center for Latin American Studies at the University of Chicago (2016), holds a master's (2012) and a bachelor's degree (2009) in History from the Federal University of Pernambuco. Postdoctoral research internship CAPES-PNPD in the Postgraduate Program in History at the Federal University of Bahia (2018-2021). Member of the History of Parliaments in Latin America research group (University of Oxford) and of the Mundos do Trabalho GT at ANPUH. He has experience in the field of History, with an emphasis on the History of Brazil Empire, with research developed and books published in the fields of Political and Social History on the following topics: political rights, citizenship, political culture, electoral participation, history of workers, labor movement , abolitionist movement.
