A Visiting Researcher at the Faculty of Arts and Social Science of the Open University (UK) and a Visiting Student at the Sorbonne Nouvelle Paris 3 (France). She has carried out research in Sociology with an emphasis on Sociological Theory and Sociology of Culture, focusing on the following themes: markets for symbolic goods, institutions and structures of symbolic power, symbolic borders, globalization, inequalities and distinction.
