Sylvia Helena Furegatti

Visual Artist. Associate Professor in Criative Process - Area of Sculpture - Institute of Arts Unicamp (2021). PhD in Architecture and Urbanism from the University of São Paulo FAU-USP (2007); Master's degree from the same institution (2002); Specialist in Museums of Art by MAC-USP (1992); Bachelor of Fine Arts from the State University of Campinas (1991). Professor of the Pos Graduation Program and of the Undergraduation in Visual Arts (IA-Unicamp). Currently holds the position of Director of the Museum of Visual Arts MAV - Unicamp. Coordinator of the Undergraduation in Visual Arts of the Institute of Arts of Unicamp (2013-2017). Current Co-coordinator of the "Group of Studies on Public Art in Latin America" - GEAP LA and National Coordinator of GEAP BR. Experience in the area of Visual Arts, with emphasis on Urban Artistic Interventions working mainly on the following fronts: contemporary art, art and urban environment, current Brazilian art; production and curatorship of contemporary art exhibitions. He has worked in different cultural spaces such as Museum of Contemporary Art - Campinas (MAC Campinas), Museum of Contemporary Art - Americana (MAC Americana) and Itaú Cultural Institut.
