I am an Assistant Professor in the Graduate Program in Rehabilitation Sciences and the Undergraduate Medicine Program at Universidade Nove de Julho (UNINOVE). I lead the CIFácil research group and am a member of the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society (MDS). I hold a Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Sciences from UNINOVE, where I also completed my Bachelor's in Physiotherapy (2009) and Master's (2012). I completed Postdoctoral Fellowships in Epidemiology at the School of Public Health, University of São Paulo (USP) (2017), and in Rehabilitation Sciences at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) (2019). I am a specialist in Neurofunctional Physiotherapy, certified by the Brazilian Association of Neurofunctional Physiotherapy (ABRAFIN). From 2020 to 2023, I served as the coordinator of the Multiprofessional Residency in Family Health/Primary Care at UNINOVE. Currently, I collaborate internationally with institutions such as the University of Lucerne and the Kantonsspital Luzern, conducting research alongside professionals from these institutions. My work focuses on developing measurement tools based on the International Classification of Functioning, Disability, and Health (ICF), with a strong interest in psychometrics and instrument validation. My research interests and expertise include epidemiology, public health, physiotherapy, rehabilitation, functionality, neurorehabilitation, psychometrics, validation of functional assessment instruments, the International Classification of Functioning, Disability, and Health (ICF), and biostatistics.
