Civil Engineer with a Masters and PhD in Civil and Urban Construction Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (Poli-USP). Currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Chair of Sustainable Construction at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETHZ), Switzerland. From 2014 to 2023, she worked as a researcher at the Institute for Technological Research of the State of São Paulo (IPT), with research stays at the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics (Germany) and ETH in 2019. Her main research interests include the development of methods, metrics and tools for assessing sustainability in construction, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) applied to building products and buildings, and the decarbonisation of construction with a focus on the Global South.
