Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP). Campus de Bauru. Faculdade de Arquitetura, Artes e Comunicação (FAAC)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

I'm a Journalist, with a doctorate from the Graduate Program in Communication at the Fluminense Federal University (PPGCOM/UFF), Brazil. I was a guest student at the Interdisciplinary Center for Global South Studies (ICGSS) at the University of Tübingen (Germany), with a Capes/PrInt scholarship (Institutional Internationalization Program/Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel). Researcher linked to Doctoral Certificate Program in Global South Studies (ICGSS, University of Tübingen). I'm also part of the Communication-Decoloniality Group (ALAIC - Asociación Latinoamericana de Investigadores de la Comunicación) and TRAMA (Communication, Art and Sociotechnical Networks). I have delved into the idea of Encruzilhada (Crossroads), according to Afro-diasporic and indigenous epistemes, as a decolonizing conceptual operator. Master in Media Communication at São Paulo State University (Unesp), Brazil. With the Capes scholarship, my doctoral dissertation analyzes journalism under the epistemic bias of decoloniality. I have teaching experience at the National University of Timor-Leste (2012-2014). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
