A Biologist graduated from the University of Pernambuco, with a Master's in Public Health from the Aggeu Magalhães Institute at the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation, a Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the René Rachou Institute of the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation, and a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of São Paulo. She is currently the Manager of the Advanced Technologies for Well-being and Health Applied to Life Sciences Center (Nutabes) at the Institute for Technological Research of the State of São Paulo (IPT), responsible for laboratory management, participation, and coordination of RD projects and technological services. She has served as a member of the working groups on Digital Health, One Health, and Vector-Borne Diseases for the São Paulo Department of Science, Research, and Health Development (2022), a member of the Conduct and Integrity Committee at the Foundation for Support of the Technological Research Institute (FIPT) (2021-2022), and a specialist reviewer for InovaHC (2023-2024). She is currently part of the following research groups: Medical Entomology/FIOCRUZ and BioNanoManufacturing/IPT and a member of the Internal Biosafety Committee at IPT. She has technical expertise in the areas of cellular and molecular biology, animal and plant cell culture, ultrastructure, parasitology, virology, medical entomology, parasite-host interaction biology, project management, and strategic planning.
