MARIO HENRIQUE OGASAVARA is currently a Full Professor of the Graduate Program in International Management (Master's and Doctoral Program) at ESPM (Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing), Sao Paulo - Brazil. He received his Ph.D. degree in Management at University of Tsukuba (Japan). During 2006-2008, he joined the Department of Japanese Studies as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the National University of Singapore. Guest Professr (Globa) at Keio University (2023-2026). Visiting Researcher at Keio University (Grant of the Japan Foundation Japanese Studies Fellowship Program). He is a Research Fellow at University of Brasilia, Brazil (Department of Business Administration). He is the Associate Coordinator of the Asian Studies Program (ProAsia), University of Sao Paulo (FEA/USP), Brazil. He was a Visiting Professor at University of Deggendorf (Germany) and currently an Avocational Lecturer at Steinbeis University (Germany). Guest Professor at Dom Cabral Foundation (Executive MBA). Elected as one of the Program Chairs of AIB-LAC (2022-2024) and Program Chair of AJBS (Association of Japanese Business Studies). He served the Academic Division of Strategy of ANPAD (Brazilian Academy of Managementt) as the Chair of the Division (2018-2020), Scientific Committee Member (2013-2017), and Track Chair (2011-2012). He served as Track chair in international conferences such as AIB-LAT (2016-2017), SMLA Strategic Management in Latin America (2019), EIBA - European International Business Association (2015).Area Coordinator of Brazil forAGBRP (Academy for Global Business Research and Practice). One of the guest-editor of a Special Issue on Journal of Business Research (Elsevier) and Multinational Business Review (Emerald). His primary research interests include internationalization firm strategy, innovation and performance of multinational corporations, entry mode, joint ventures, Asian and Brazilian companies.
