Renan Felipe da Silva is graduated in the course of Language Teaching - Portuguese/English - at UNESP - Universidade Estadual Paulista "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" - in São José do Rio Preto, Brazil. He has already done an internship in the area foreign language teaching and learning under the orientation of Professor Cláudia Maria Ceneviva Nigro. Besides, he developed the research "A study focused on the use of the reflexive diary as an instrument to promote autonomy" supported by the institution of research fostering FAPESP and under the orientation of Professor Suzi Marques Spatti Cavalari. Currently, he is enrolled in the Master's Degree program at UNESP - São José do Rio Preto - and researches in the area of Linguistic Studies, focusing on Applied Linguistics - Foreign Language Teaching and Learning - as the main line of enquiry.
