Has interest in the various aspects of the study of sharks and rays, with emphasis on Biology, Ecology, Taxonomy, Conservation and Fisheries of Elasmobranchs Fishes. The author is particularly concerned in the conservation of the group, not as a fishery resource but as a group of species that play an important ecological role in marine ecosystem.
