He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sao Paulo State University (UNESP, 2007). Completed his master's degree at the same university in partnership with the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech, USA) and graduated in 2009. Got his PhD degree in 2020 in Nuclear Technology from São Paulo University (USP) Nuclear and Energy Research Institute (IPEN). He worked as a researcher at the Navy Technological Center in São Paulo (CTMSP) in active and dynamic rotor control applied to ultra-centrifuges for uranium enrichment. In 2010, he joined the National Nuclear Energy Commission (CNEN), and was assigned to the Nuclear and Energy Research Institute (IPEN) to work in the Radiopharmacy Center. From 2010 to 2018 he worked as co-manager of Infrastructure and Project Manager. From July/2018 to June/2021 he was pointed and elected as the Head of Radiopharmacy Center in IPEN. He participated in the project for the Brazilian Multipurpose Reactor (RMB), in which he developed his PhD thesis with the theme of medical radioisotope production. He also coordinated research project (CRP) funded by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) with the theme: New ways of producing Tc-99m and Tc-99m generators. Nowadays, Perini is working as R&D Project Manager for RadioPharma Solution at IBA (Ion Beam Applications), Belgium. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
