He holds a Bachelors degree in Agronomy (2011) from the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE), a Masters degree (2013) in Soils and Plant Nutrition from the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV), and a Ph.D. (2017) in Soils and Plant Nutrition from the Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture University of São Paulo (ESALQ/USP), including a one-year doctoral research fellowship at the School of Agriculture and Environment, University of Western Australia (UWA). He is currently an Associate Professor (Adjunct Professor III) in the Department of Agronomy at the Center for Agricultural and Engineering Sciences, Federal University of Espírito Santo (CCAE/UFES), where he serves as Coordinator of the Laboratory of Soil Genesis and Mineralogy. He is also Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Agronomy (PPGAG/UFES) and a permanent faculty member of the Graduate Program in Agrochemistry (PPGAQ/UFES). In addition, he is a researcher in the TERRANTAR project, linked to scientific research in Antarctica. His expertise lies in Soil Science, with an emphasis on soil genesis, morphology, and classification, focusing mainly on soil mineralogy, soil geochemistry, pedogenesis, micromorphology, and soillandscape relationships.
