PhD in Cartographic Science from São Paulo State University (FCT-UNESP, 2022), with a Master's degree (2017) and a Bachelor's in Cartographic Engineering (2015) from the same institution, and a technical degree in Surveying from the Federal University of Technology Paraná (UTFPR, 2009). During his academic training, he participated in research projects on multipurpose land cadastre and the use of high-resolution satellite imagery for cartographic updates, receiving scholarships from CNPq and FAPESP. His Master's research, funded by CAPES, focused on the influence of calibration parameters of non-metric digital cameras in generating digital terrain models, while his PhD work addressed the mitigation of vegetation-induced occlusions in extracting building roof outlines from photogrammetric point clouds.
