I am very proud to be part of a family that had been working in agriculture for hundreds of years! I appreciate many topics on agriculture and food production... but I am especially passionate about pigs and their likeable personalities! For that reason, I choose the swine production as my main research and teaching topic! I am a professor and researcher at UFRGS since 2015, activities that I share with my "second full-time job" as Pedro's mom since 2018! I am currently a researcher and adjunct professor at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, Porto Alegre - RS - BR. Bachelor's Degree (2009), MSc (2011) and PhD (2014) in Animal Science at Universidade Federal de Santa Maria, RS - BR. Postdoctoral fellowship at Universidade Estadual Paulista, Jaboticabal - SP - BR (2014). Experience in Animal Science, focusing on non-ruminant production and nutrition. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
