He holds a Ph.D. in Pharmacy-Biochemistry (Pharmaceutical Industry Modality) from the University of São Paulo (1998), Master's Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Natural Resources & Materials) by Toyama Medical and Pharmaceutical University, Japan (2005) and PhD in Scientific and Technological Innovation for Bio-industry by Kyushu University, Japan (2013). He acts as a technical professional in Analytical Development & Analytical Validation with experience in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries. He has a background in Chemistry, with emphasis in Chemistry of Natural Products, Analytical Chemistry, Quality of Medicines and Foods and Development of Medicines, working mainly in the following subjects: peptide analysis, mass spectrometry, bioactive peptides, HPLC-MS, coumarin, agarwood, phytotherapeutic drugs, food supplements, quality control, food analysis, Angelica pubescens, pancreatic cancer and functional foods.
