Degree in History at the National University of Colombia, MA in Social History at the University of São Paulo and PhD candidate at the same institution. She is author of "Las historias de la música en Hispanoamérica (1876-2000)", winner of Best These Competition (UNal) and 3rd place in the X Prize Casa de las Américas Musicology. Her book "Da música mecânica à música folclórica. Mário de Andrade e o conceito música popular", won Social History Award (USP) and 2nd mention in Silvio Romero Award, 2012 (IPHAN). Currently she has a grant from FAPESP - Brazil. She has experience in History, with emphasis on History of Music, working mainly in the following subjects: historiography, phonography, Brazil, Colombia, Latin America (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
